Conditions of Use: Member Requirements;

To ensure healthy discussion and to protect other members, we advise that all members read and abide by these rules and conditions;

  • Members who have access to any personal data must not disclose this to a third party and must comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
  • All data on the HR Portal is confidential and must only be used for the purpose for which it was generated.
  • The responsibility for inappropriate disclosure rests with the individual member.
  • All information on the Portal must reflect KCC's approach to equality and diversity.
  • Do not exclude or offend people or discriminate in any way
  • Do not use abusive or offensive terminology.  Posting text just in capitals is regarded as shouting and as such is considered rude an offensive.
  • Consider the way you communicate and the language used when inputting on to the Portal
  • Members must not use this Portal to post any material which is knowingly false and /or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or otherwise violative of the law.
  • All complaints should be brought to the attention of the Administrator.
  • These requirements will work in conjunction with the Kent Connects Legal Conditions (see below)
  • A Member breaching these Conditions of Use may be subject to disciplinary action.
